Dear Dave and Hudson

Hey your networking is hitting the spot! 2 notifications so far about your viz whizz. We wish we wish - oh how we would LOVE to come. But. Our boring old mum does B&B - which means that when everybody else is chilling - she is NOT. That weekend a case in point. Redgirls didn't draw the luckiest straw in the world! Have the best fun and post LOTS of pictures. Maybe she'll feel guilty.Ginger huggy things - the redgirls (and hey we think we remember that you maybe did a comment on one of our pointing you tube videos? And did she get back to you? No she did NOT. Rude mum. Rubbish mum. Sorry) XXXX

Oh, that's a shame that you guys can't come along, sounds like you have a lot on though. We've had a few folks come back and say that they'll be coming so should be a good day. I'll make sure and take loads of photos and videos and post them. Maybe next time eh?

Hi, we are 1st time Vizsla owners with a bitch who is 9 months, what a steep but fun learning curve! We are keen to meet other owners so will def try and make this meeting!

Dave B said...

Nice one. Hopefully see you there. Where did you get your girl from? Our boy is just coming up for 9 months, any relation?

1sttime-vizsla-owner said...

assume i must be careful what i say online but prety sure they not related, we got our pup from a crazy lady down the M74,long story, will fill you in in June. (but nice to know you are probably/possibly going through the same trials and tribulations as us, and on a similar timeline) :-)

Think you're right. We'll have a chat about it in June. If you want to see some videos and pictures of what Hudson has been up to he has a facebook profile (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/profile.php?id=1500677473&hiq=hudson%2Cbrowning)

Very sad I know but he really nagged me for ages to get him a barkberry so he could keep up with his bitches.... he promised he would stop smelling bums... needless to say he's renaiged on that one!

Hi Folks,
I may be able to get along and will pass the details onto other Vizsla owners we know.

Flynn won't be the smallest one there if there are a couple of 9 mth olds going! It will be a good test of his recall anyway!

Cheers

Hi there,

My name is also Dave and I have a 5 month old bitch called Cara. Met an electrician in Bishopbriggs with a male of the same age who told me about the meet. Will definately be there with my girlfriend and the dog. We need to see older vizslas to make sure that the beast will one day calm down !!!

Dave B said...

Nice one, sounds like it should be a pretty good meet. With regards to calming down.... well, our 9 month old is just throwing a toy about the living room so don't think it'll happen any time soon!

Hi! we have a 7 month old Vizsla named Milo. He's a tad boisterous to say the least, but also a real joy. I'm sure he'll enjoy meeting some more of the 'crazy gang' on Sunday. Looking forward to it.

Hi sorry wont make it Sunday, Mac has yet another cut paw so it's restricted exercise for a while.

Thanks to everyone that come along today, seems to have a been a really good afternoon. Sorry for those of you that got peed on by Hudson at the start! I think he was a bit excited at seeing all the other v's!

Here's a link to some pics (quite a lot actually!) we took today:

I'm putting up some videos on you tube too so you can see them here: http://www.youtube.com/user/kakikid

Just uploading them now so they may take half an hour or so to show.

Dave

PS if you've got videos or pictures of today would be great to see them.

Great photos and videos! well done - gave my wife Ann a chance to see what went on. Maybe the beach next time - as the dogs enjoyed the water so much.

Many thanks for arranging such a good outing

A great afternoon, Dave. Milo had a ball with the other dogs. Great photos too.
Thanks

Glad everyone had fun. We'll need to get another one organised for later in the summer. Reckon the beach would be a good idea. Anyone got any thoughts as to which one?

Dave

James C said...

If the next Wizz is beach bound I could suggest Barassie Beach at Troon - which has a small car park or parking almost on the beach. Can be busy in the summer. The dogs could then be walked northwards toward Irvine - a long walk!!

Can anyone recommend a breeder in Scotland as we are thinking about buying a Vizsla in the near future

Flynn's Folks said...

Hello to the Cannons!
I'm sure there are breeders within Scotland who others can recommend but I personally would recommend Kate Olsson who bred Flynn for us.

She can be contacted through www.hungarianvizsla.org.uk
and if you have any further questions don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards

Ricky
